Shaping the Next Era of Technology and Society
Kulbir Colin Singh Dhillon is a globally recognized futurist and keynote speaker, leading conversations on the future of mobility, digitization, AI, and human-centred innovation. His work drives bold, disruptive thinking across industries, and his leadership is helping shape a smarter, more ethical, and more human future.
Strategic Innovation Leadership
As President of ImagineQ Inc., Colin leads a bold innovation team working at the intersection of technology, design, mobility, and ethical systems change. ImagineQ partners with public and private sector leaders to build future-ready solutions in areas such as smart infrastructure, AI governance, advanced manufacturing, and clean energy. From reimagining transportation logistics to advising on smart city development, ImagineQ delivers visionary strategies with real-world outcomes.
Colin is also the Co-founder of the Centre for Designing Change (CDC), a national not-for-profit innovation agency focused on aligning AI, robotics, and human-centred innovation. Through CDC, he is spearheading Canada’s first open-source humanoid robotics initiative, a strategic national project aimed at strengthening Canada’s sovereign leadership in physical AI, robot-human symbiosis, and next-gen ethical technology deployment.
EyesOn Design Judge & Global Design Contributor
Colin is a long-standing and active judge on the EyesOn Design panel at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, one of the automotive industry’s most prestigious design showcases. As the only Canadian on the judging panel, he brings a unique perspective rooted in human-centred design, sustainability, and innovation.
Design Thinking for Canada's Future
Colin’s career is defined by applying design thinking at the systems level, where human needs, advanced technology, and national strategy converge. From leading Project Arrow to launching Canada’s first open-source humanoid robotics initiative, he brings a generational ability to align engineering, ethics, and public good.
Through his work on smart cities, clean energy (Micro-SMRs), and semiconductor strategy, Colin is helping Canada design for sovereignty, sustainability, and global competitiveness. His approach transforms complex challenges into actionable innovation, making him one of the country’s most valuable minds, shaping what comes next.
Shaping Talent, Shaping a Nation
Colin’s commitment to innovation extends beyond projects, it lives in people. As a former educator and mentor, he’s spent over a decade teaching design thinking, ergonomics, and innovation strategy, guiding the next generation of problem solvers, engineers, and creators.
But his influence goes further.
Through initiatives like Project Arrow, ImagineQ, and the Centre for Designing Change, Colin has helped shape the ecosystems where Canada’s brightest minds are now thriving, blending technology, ethics, and nation-building purpose. His leadership doesn’t just inspire talent; it creates the conditions for Canada’s future to be more inclusive, sustainable, and globally respected.
Service to Canada
Colin’s work transcends industry, it serves the country. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to Canadian innovation and public leadership, he has been awarded both the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the King Charles III Coronation Medal.
Beyond accolades, Colin’s impact is embedded in nation-shaping initiatives. From advancing clean mobility and ethical AI to driving Canada’s leadership in robotics and advanced manufacturing, his work supports a more sovereign, sustainable, and competitive Canada.
Documentary Filmmaker: Preserving Untold Histories
In 2016, Colin wrote and directed the California-funded documentary, The Lion That Lost His Roar, chronicling the powerful and overlooked story of Prince Victor Albert Jay Duleep Singh, the first person of Sikh origin to arrive in Canada in 1888.
As the grandson of Maharajah Ranjit Singh, the Lion of Punjab, Prince Victor’s journey reflects the intersection of empire, identity, and exile. Through this film, Colin reclaims a lost chapter of Canadian and Sikh history, bringing visibility, voice, and dignity to a legacy long forgotten.
This project reflects Colin’s deep commitment to cultural storytelling, diasporic identity, and the importance of preserving history through a human lens.
Philanthropy & Purpose-Driven Leadership
Colin’s commitment to service extends far beyond innovation, he is a visionary builder of institutions that uplift society. With a sharp eye for identifying structural gaps in culture, education, and technology, he has helped launch and support organizations that are shaping a more inclusive, informed, and resilient future.
He is the founding President of the Sikh Heritage Museum of Canada (SHMC), a pioneering institution that preserves and celebrates Sikh Canadian history while fostering intergenerational cultural dialogue. As co-founder and past Chairman of the Global Syndicate for Mobility Cybersecurity, Colin also works to strengthen trust and resilience in an increasingly connected world.
His philanthropic leadership focuses on collective advancement, raising not just awareness, but capacity, dignity, and opportunity for all.
